Ethiopia's legal system does not permit dual citizenship; however, the Ethiopian Origin ID Card (Yellow Card) grants Diaspora members nearly all the rights of a citizen by lifting legal restrictions on foreign nationals of Ethiopian origin. As a Yellow Card holder, you are legally classified as a domestic investor.
